Cheerios is an American brand of breakfast cereals manufactured by General Mills, introduced on May, 1941, and was the first oat-based, ready-to-eat cold cereal. The original name was CheeriOats, but in 1945 current was adopted.In other european countries Cheerios is marketed under Nestlé brand.
